A three story house built at the end of the 19th century, ‘EL SOL DE SAN TELMO’ retains its original French Italian style and architecture while being newly restored with modern conveniences.

A place to stay in total comfort in the heart of tango. 2 minutes from Plaza Dorrego with its antique market and tango shows on weekends, 5 min. to different milongas and the city-center, and 15 min from Recoleta & Barrio Norte.

The 14 spacious bedrooms are well equipped and prepared for the different seasons with ceiling fans (A/C optional) and substantial heating during the winter. A shared kitchen is available on each floor as well as private or shared new bathtubs and showers.

The rooftop garden is available for dinning under the stars, for sunbathing during summer days or having the traditional  'asado' (BBQ) on sundays.

A dance studio with mirrors and parquet flooring open for guests private practice, also offers classes in Tango, Yoga, stretching, salsa and rock every day.

Our guests also find all the friendly information and advice regarding milongas, lessons, teachers related with tango and other turist interests.

The check in is at 12:30hs so if you are coming very early we recommend to book the night before, otherwise after 10:00am you can leave your lugagge in the house and take the room at 12:30hs. The Check Out is at 10:00am.

After three days stay there is a 10% discount and more important discounts are considered for longer stays.

Oficial bookings are ONLY done by email with credit card information or previous deposit (for US residents you can send a check by normal post to our account in NY). After this, In case of cancellation you will have the cost of 50% of the period of cancellation (before or after your arrival).
